Job Description:

As our Lead Commercial & Cost Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of commercial and cost management functions, ensuring world-class standards, strategic decision-making, and seamless execution across multi-disciplinary teams. You will play a pivotal role in client engagement, project leadership, and driving value at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.

• Professional memberships preferred: RICS / AIQS / IQSSL.

• Advanced knowledge of industry standards, SMMs, and both pre- and post-contract management.

Key Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in commercial and cost management, with a strong record of leading high-value projects.

• Demonstrated leadership of commercial teams (6–10 professionals) and ability to inspire, guide, and mentor talent.

• Client-facing expertise with the ability to build strong professional relationships and make independent, well-informed decisions.

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Sinhala.

• Strong proficiency in quantification, costing methodologies, and industry software tools.

• Proven capability in contract management, risk analysis, and negotiation.
